Totnes Devon bed and breakfast B&B, self catering cottages, hotels, guest houses, camp sites and where to eat. Holiday accommodation, activities and services in South Devon.

Totnes is an ancient market town located at the head of the Dart Estuary. Steeped in history and heritage, the town is a feast of historic buildings with examples dating back to Norman, Medieval and Tudor times.

Being centrally located in beautiful South Devon, Totnes is ideally located to explore the local coast and countryside. Much of our landscape of rolling hills and valleys of the South Hams is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Dart estuary is truly magnificent and can be explored by boat from Totnes, passing Dittisham along the way onto the historic port of Dartmouth. The wild wilderness of Dartmoor National Park lies just a few miles to the North. To the West are the English Riviera towns of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham.

Totnes is renowned for its many fine specialist and unique shops, superb local food produce and local manufactured goods. A weekly open market in the town square, street musicians, many excellent wine bars and brasseries gives Totnes a lively and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Totnes has a great deal of culture on its doorstep, not least Dartington Hall offering music, film and performing arts from classic to world, and host of the literary event Way with Words and the International Summer Music School.
